Three Days Until Christmas

Yes it's three days until Christmas and I still haves tons of shopping and wrapping to do. I don't remember the last time I waited until the last minute to finish my shopping. I especially need to get my mom's and Thad's presents. At the beginning of this holiday season, I was super pumped up. I wanted to put my tree up at the beginning of November. I held off until the weekend after Thanksgiving. Since that time, I've gotten busy. With what? Football, Basketball, Poker and even some Teaching.
Although football has recently become VERY sad, I still find myself glued to the T.V. My Broncos have let me down this year but, I'm hopeful for 2005. The maintenance man in my apartment building has been giving me a lot of crap because he's a Radiers fan. Need I say more???
Luckily my Shockers Basketball team has done just the opposite. They are undefeated with a 7-0 record so far this season. Last night my mom & I went to our first game of the season. We had a GREAT time. At the half the Shockers were down by 5 points or so but within the first few minutes of the second half they took the lead. It was exciting to see the sold out arena go wild. I look forward to going to more games soon.
I'm still loving Texas Hold'em Poker. Jennifer W, Trisha & I are still playing several times a week. As a matter of fact Trisha and I are going to play tonight as well as the rest of this week and all of Christmas break. Yea! No School=No work for both of us. Unfortunately Jennifer will have to work tomorrow and 3 days next week. Aside from the fun we have playing the game, we also become pretty good and made some new friends. You know how much I love making friends.
Well, I better go. I hope it won't be so long before my next entry.
